Thorough inspections determine whether an infestation and wood damage is present. We will also determine which remedial control measures are needed and what conductive conditions are present that would encourage a termite infestation.

CHARACTERISTICS OF TERMITES

Termites are one of the most destructive wood destroying insects in the US. They cause billions of dollars of damage each year, more than is caused by fire and wind combined!

Subterranean termites are social insects that live in nests or colonies. They are not always readily noticeable because they hide their activity behind soil, wallboards, siding or wood trim. They derive their nutrition from wood and other material containing cellulose - wood, paper, cotton, cardboard, burlap or other plant products.
